Service Overview

Stewardship is the lifestyle of a person who recognizes and accepts the lordship of Jesus Christ and works in partnership with God, acting as His agent in the administration of his business on Earth. Stewardship is a privilege that God has given us to grow in love and achieve victory over selfishness and greed. The faithful steward rejoices at the blessings that others receive because of his faithfulness.

The Stewardship Department has the great responsibility of strengthening communion in each member. Strengthening the habit of seeking God as the first activity of the day. We believe that a consecrated life will manifest the joy of dedicating to God the whole being and the gifts given.

Stewardship originated when God created Adam and Eve in His own image and established, with his personal touch, an intimate relationship with mankind, a relationship that had to grow over the time that they would spend together. The concept of that shared image and that shared intimacy is central to understanding the spirit and dynamics of biblical stewardship.

Mission Statement

To educate the members of the Southeastern Conference to recognize the God’s Lordship of their life, time, talents, and treasures, and to encourage them to be His faithful steward.

Goal

To motivate every member of the Southeastern Conference to intimate with God through the practice of Biblical stewardship and experience His spiritual blessing.

Our Services

  • Provide Southeastern Conference pastors and members with information and educational materials on Stewardship and Planned Giving.
  • We offer and conduct seminars on Stewardship and Planned Giving for pastors and churches.
  • Coordinate departmental activities to pastors and constituency.
  • Facilitate the making of Wills, Living Wills, Health Care Wills, and Power of Attorney as a benefit to Southeastern Conference Members.
