Words are so inadequate. I thank God for Elder & Sister McKinney. You both touched our lives with healing ministered by God through each of you. We treasure our memories of time together. What a joy to have you in our church and then to break bread and spend time with us in our home in Jacksonville. We will forever be grateful. May God grant you comfort as you are physically separated from your dear husband for a short period until you are united with him for Eternity. We love you folk. We hold you up in prayer. May God continue to bless you!

Oh that there were 1000 Elder O.J. Mckinneys for, "The greatest want of the world today is the want of men--men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their innermost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle is to the pole, men who will not be bought or sold." Sister McKinney, I am grateful to you for the experience of having observed and worked with this tireless man of God. I praise God for the legacy that he leaves behind for your four sons and I rejoice that the Lord has said it was time for him to rest and lastly, I pray for the Lord to help us all be ready. Sincerely and With Deepest Love, The Rachel Family

This is indeed a sad day in Israel with the passing of a great prophet. To the McKinney family, my family and I extend our deepest sympathy. Pastor and sister McKinney have always been gracious to us and he will be dearly missed. Can't wait to see him again "in that great gettin up morning."

He was my Pastor as a teen, now thirty five years later, his son is my Pastor. We had the opportunity, a few weeks back, to hear him speak and have fellowship with them at our church. Oh what a wonderful man full of spirit and wisdon. He can make you laugh and still preach the truth. I will always remember our last visit from him. Sis. Bonnie McKinney, Pastor Brian and Mae McKinney, and the rest of the family, you are always in our prayers. Remember to keep pressing toward the prize and fall on the Rock when things get rough. We love you all!

Prayers for the biological and church family. Comfort one another with these words from II Thessalonians 2:16,17 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints Psalms 116: 15 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13
