After the Southeastern Conference for six years as the treasurer, Stanton G. Reed surprised us by tendering his resignation which became effective June 30, 2005. He was treasurer during two significant conference acquisitions: 1) the new office complex in Mt. Dora, and (2) the 480-acre additional campsite in North Alachua County.
He has accepted a post as Chief Financial Officer for Hospice of the Comforter located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He will be missed.
