The Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (SEC), headquartered in Mt. Dora, Fl., announced today that it will send a fourth team of medical professionals to provide much needed medical care in Haiti The team will Nicole Brise, SEC women’s ministries director, will be leading the team.
Southeastern recently sent three teams, composed of more than 60 medical professionals, to Haiti. Each team spent a week in Haiti on the campus of the Adventist Hospital. “There is much work to be done in Haiti,” Brise said, “they need our help.” Based upon the success of the two teams, Southeastern decided to send a third team to Haiti.
