WAU seeks Education faculty

Washington Adventist University Department of Education seeks applicants for two full-time faculty positions in Curriculum & Instruction.  One position also includes chair responsibilities.   Successful applicants will be expected to teach education courses, advise, supervise student teaching interns, collaborate with state, union, and local constituents, network with educational entities/agencies and/or school systems, collect and analyze programmatic data, and provide leadership for the program. 

An earned doctorate is preferred as well as at least three years teaching experience in a K-12 setting, knowledge of Professional Development Schools, some experience in higher education, ability to integrate faith and learning and a commitment to the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Additional information about WAU is available at www.wau.edu
