No one can say anything to make you feel better, no one understands the loss that is uniquely yours...no one but Christ! Know that a enormous wall of prayer surrounds you and your family. I've recently lost my dad and I am ever awaiting that distinct trumpet sound...allow bible truths to sustain you...its all we've got to depend on and trust in.

We send our deepest sympathy to Elder Walter L. Pearson and the Pearson/Holland family. It is impossible for us to find words to adequately express our sincere empathy at this time of your tremendous loss. We, however, remind you of the words of the prophet who wrote: "For Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first." I Thess:4:16. We will see Sandy again. As you know, Jesus has made this a reality for all who fall asleep in Him. Yet, it always hurts to lose a God-sent wife, mother, sister, aunt, or friend as special as Sandy. Please know that you are in our prayers daily, in our hearts hourly and in our thoughts always. We wish you peace in the midst of this storm. With God's help, you will make it through.

Pastor Pearson, I was saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Sandra. I often listen to you via the internet, and hear the love you have for her whenever you'd speak of her, or her great meals. I am praying for you, and your family that the very love of which you have preached for so many years is the same love you will depend on to take you this time in your life. May it comfort you to know that as many lives as you have blessed with bringing the Word of God, is as many persons that you have lifting you before the throneroom of heaven.

Oh Lord, haste the day when our faith shall be sight. Dear Pastor Pearson, she is sleeping, awaiting the trumpet sound. Hold on and continue the work the Master has given you the privilege to do for Him. He won't keep long. We are praying for you in this part of Africa, where we love your preaching that we re-preach in our congregations. Be of good courage and may the Lord apply His comforting balm on your heart. You are not alone, we are with you and most of all, The Most High is with you. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Dear Dr. Pearson and Family. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We are all saddened and mourn your loss. The bible tells us weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. I lost my husband two years ago and I can say that when we know Jesus it is possible to have joy again. As you go through each day, hold to Gods unchanging hand and He will keep you in perfect peace. God bless and keep you always is my prayer. Cloretta G. Brown

Dear Dr Pearson: I have fond memories of your beautiful wife and you. During these challenging moments of yours, I trust that you will find comfort in your love for Christ. It's not long now - soon and very soon, we are going to see the King, and we firmly believe that Sandra will to. You will remain in my prayers.

Like much of the rest of the Adventist world, I too, am saddened by the loss of Sister Pearson. However, my sadness is directed toward those loved ones who are left behind and very well may be crippled in their labors for the cause of Christ, as a result of her death. Therefore, I lend my condolences to her husband, Elder Walter Pearson, who has inspired my heart countless numbers of time with his preaching; her children; her sister Vivian Joseph and others. May God sustain and keep each one, during this painful hour and may each one of them keep their lives, so in sync with God that they will be able to live with her again throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity is my prayer.
