I was giving a youth week of prayer at Spanish West Palm Beach. Started on a Sabbath and started powerful but on monday night something very bad happened. My brother crashed my 1995 Nissan Altima, my only car to move around Miami. I ran to the crash site, saw my brother and he was taken to the Hospital. The car was totally beyond any kind of repair. But I did what I usually do. I looked up and not down and I told him (Jesus) I want to finish what I started for you Lord in W.Palm Beach. I called Pastor Mejia (pastor for the spanish W. Palm Beach church) and told him the whole story. Pastor Mejia told me to rent a car that the church would pay for the rental, so I did. But I was still without a car. My brother was released from the Hospital on Tuesday afternoon without a scratch. Those who saw the car could not understand how he could have walked out from that accident without a scratch. That day as I drove him home something came into me a kind of joy that cannot be explained and as I was driving I turn over to my brother and told him with a great joy in my heart: "Bro, I feel that God is going to give me a car this week" , he looked at me and laughed, and I said to him: don't laugh, God always delivers his promises". By the end of the week during Sabbath night, after ending the week with five baptisms, a man came to me whom I had never seen before. He came towards me holding a set of car keys and said to me: "Brother Herb I heard your sad story of the loss of your car and this week your sermons on your life story of how you came out of the underworld of drug dealing and guns and all that. My son has been touched and has decided to give his heart to Jesus and I just want to offer you a car which I have no need for, please accept it." I could not believe what I was hearing so I did what I always do: I looked up to heavens beyond the ceiling of the church and said, Thank you Jesus. GOD THAT WEEK, GAVE ME A 2002 SILVER VOLKSWAGEN JETTA DIESEL ENGINE WITH ALL THE EXTRAS THAT COMES WITH. We serve a powerful GOD, a loving GOD, a merciful GOD. AMEN
