Podiatric Medicine, located in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hurst is an international bilingual speaker, educator, and freelance writer. For the past two years, she has been a guest writer for our very own Adventist publication – Message Magazine – and has also written four devotionals.

Lady Hurst, as she is affectionately called by many, is the founder of Going GodWard Ministries.  Through this ministry, Lady Hurst shares her passion for prayer through “Prayers That Soar.” She believes in the power of prayer and looks for God to daily do the miraculous in her life and the lives of others.

Sedlacek is a graduate of Capital University in Nursing with a Master in Psychiatric Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She has been a frequent presenter at women’s retreats, camp meetings and churches throughout the country as well as internationally. Her ministry may be summarized by the verse found in Luke 4:18: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
